Maintenance Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and results driven maintenance manager to keep our state-of-the-art plant in pristine and high efficient conditions.  Your success in this position will be measured by:

1. Achieves 95% completion rate in Preventive Maintenance program and reduce machinery / equipment downtime.
2. Keeps the building and building support systems at optimal performance: HVAC, Systems-compressed air, boilers, ammonia - and utilities.
3. Organizes and reduces parts and tools inventory by 10%
4. Build a high effective and flexible maintenance team to increase customer satisfaction (QA, Production) rate by 100%
5. Enforces a safe work place by supervising all tasks are performed in accordance with O.S.H.A., E.P.A., F.D.A., AIB, Lock-out/Tag-out safety rules, codes policies, and regulations, and Confined Entry policies.
6. Generates significant ($$six digits) annual savings by increasing equipment efficiency, reducing maintenance costs and minimize waste.
7. Manages capital projects (equipment & Building) within specifications, deadlines and budget.

THIS IS A HANDS-ON position. It is expected for you to be in the plant troubleshooting and problem solving multiple situations on a daily basis.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering highly desirable
2. 5-7 years experience as Maintenance Manager
3. 3-5 years in a food manufacturing operation at a Supervisor/Manager level
4. AIB, OSHA and Environmental regulations and compliance
5. Lead a team of 6 mechanics/technicians and a maintenance coordinator to cover a 24/7 operation. Coach, train and develop the team!

R&D Project Manager

Our natural and organic baking facility is looking for an enthusiastic and results driven Project Manger to help our R&D and Marketing Departments to stay focused and on-track.  In this role you will act as a facilitator, baker, data manager and marketer. 

Your success in this position will be measured by:

• Planning and organizing projects according to: R&D and Marketing priorities and project flows, sales goals, customer demands in order to ensure an on time/ on budget rate of 95%
• Creating and managing project schedules from ideation to commercialization and negotiating project completion dates of new items with Sales, Marketing and Production to achieve on-time project completion rate of 95%.
• Managing resources so that R&D team achieves an 100% increase in customer satisfaction
• Keep accurate and up todate data and managing documentation of projects from bench to production plant. Right recipe, right ingredients at the right time always!
• Partnering with Sales to manage launch of new products and perform quality inspections at store level.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

• College Degree 
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly preferred
• 5+ years project leadership managing budgets, schedules, and teams in a matrixed environment.

Warehouse Supervisor
(Bilingual in Spanish)

This position provides you the opportunity to be a core contributor to a truly outstand employer.  Our cutting edge natural and organic baking facility is looking for an enthusiastic and results driven Warehouse Supervisor.  In this position you will plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, and shipment of all items received either from suppliers or production. You will ensure the safety, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and docks for a smooth and consistent operation.

Your success in this position will be measured by:

• Timely, accurate and complete fullfillment and delivery of daily orders to achieve 100% customer satisfaction rate.
• Increase utilization of ingredients and raw materials by leading the receiving, storing, rotation and staging of materials on a daily basis.
• Coach and develop a diverse team by enforcing safety, hygiene and housekeeping rules necessary to comply with GMP’s, Food Safety and OSHA rules and practices.
• Monitoring the traffic of all materials and finished goods; the creation of inspection/receiving/shipping reports and the resolution of any discrepancies found
• Implement warehousing methods to continue improving inventory control and organization; JIT, KAIZEN, 5S, etc.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

• A degree in Business Management, Inventory Control or related field. (A combination of education and experience may be considered)
• Wholesale Food industry experience required
• 3-5 years experience in Warehousing, Receiving, Inventory Control, or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment
• Three years Supervisory experience
• Fluency is required in Spanish and English.
• Able to organize and manage multiple projects working with Production, Purchasing and QA.
